In our group we made one powerpoint presentation each with our chosen song and music video idea. We then pitched these presentions to our class and recieved feedback. After some critical feedback, we decided that we wanted to go ahed with 'Flume' and use this song and idea for our music video.
The idea that we have chosen for this music video is full of themes that can be widely recognised by a large audience. It is about two teenagers, one boy and one girl, who visit a place that takes them away from their everyday lives. They reguarly visit these places, however, they are never actually there at the same time. Whilst they are there they feel eachothers presence and want to know who each other are. They feel certain love for eachother even though they have never met. The singer of the band is in the studio playing his guitar and singing, reminising and thinking about these two teenagers and where they are now. Finally the two teenagers meet as they walk across some stepping stones, they then embrace however as they do the girl disolves and disspears leaving the boy left alone standing on the stepping stones.
